My sculptures are created through several stages of development, which starts with building up various pieces of wood to a basic form, then shortly after, carving the piece down to the exact shape of what is being made. The next step in the creative process is taking a variety of bottle caps that have been flattened by hand and nailing them onto the form. Most pieces will have a specific color combination or pattern to get the desired look of what is being created. Every piece is different in its very own fashion, whether from a pop culture background or thriving from fantasy and imagination. Particular pieces also have exposed wood which bring a completely new element and feature. To finish off the final product each piece is applied with an epoxy resin to give a smooth, shiny and sleek finish.
