I was born in 1961 in Vermont but grew up in upstate New York. I have been drawing all my life. I received a BFA from SUNY Purchase with a concentration in printmaking. My drawings are an expression of my love of Nature. I draw with bold darks combined with soft lights and many marks to create subtle nuances. I hope to capture the attention of the viewer many times over as they revisit a drawing. I enjoy working with the negative space of black and white and creating depth as well as an interesting source of light.
