My Vision:
These images are not about the beauty of the body, but about its power. A woman’s curves speak of her ability to bring life. They show her fertility and ability to nurture. The creative power of the universe can be seen in the flow of her curves.

My Technique:
A window blind’s stripes of light and shadow curve and flow around the body revealing it a new way. The light that passes the subject is absorbed by a black background drape. As the model moves the glowing lines flow around her body transforming it into a topographical map that allows the viewer to appreciate it in a new way. Captured in black and white the elegance and power of the human form can be amazing. My newest work builds on that same graphic power using convolutional neural network post processing to add color and texture to further challenge expectations.

My Digital Output:
After I create and optimizing the digital file I output it using Epson archival pigments on high-quality art paper or canvas. Each is considered a multiple original and is hand signed and numbered. For framing and display, I varnish each piece, sealing and preserving it against a wide range of display conditions. Only a small number of prints are generally made but in no case will more than 100 prints will be made in any unique edition.
