Chris Coffey

My work is about capturing that supreme instant when the light is like no other time. Geography or subject matter are secondary to me. I work with large format camera systems because it is a slow and deliberate way of working. It also allows for an image that contains much more information and tonal scale. What sets my work apart is that amount of detail and the range of tones in the finished image that 20 years of practice and study have taught me.
