Carol Fugmann

I fabricate my jewelry using sterling, 14k, 18k, 24k, gold. I construct each piece using sheet, wire, semin-precious stones and/or pearls. I apply hammer, polished and oxidized finishes. I am mostly influenced by my natural enviornment although I am inspired by architecture, it’s structure, form, shapes, lines and pattern. I find plants, flowers have an infinite potential for stimulating my creativitiy. Having been a gardener for more than 20 years, I enjoy the evolution of seed to mature plant and find many natural lines, patterns and shapes also evolve naturally in my jewelry designs.
