Andrew Madvin

My current work is an attempt to capture the intrigue, beauty, and intimate knowledge I explore and discover in nature and in hot glass. Forms, textures, colors, and moments observed while in the out doors influence and translate into the final work. However, while working with glass I allow myself to become lost, transfixed, and often guided by this unique material. I think of my experience with hot glass as a playful period that I never out grow.
