The temporary existence of a scene, gives it a personality and an identity of it’s own. My work is an observation of the world around me; it documents experiences I had and the effect they had in me. The recurring motifs in my work are trees, farmland and seascape scenes. In my work I digitally combine digital painting, acrylic, watercolor, photography, ink, and pen. I aim for a balanced relationship between the figurative, abstract, color and textural components of the work. A chair sometimes appears in the works symbolizing the viewer’s presence in the experience the artwork portrays.Trees and farmland symbolize life itself, being rooted (therefore belonging), earthiness and food for body and soul. I was born in Argentina in 1952 and moved to Israel as a young child. After my military service I studied photography at Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem. Furthering my education with a degree in accounting from The University of Akron, Akron, Ohio and a masters degree from Tel Aviv University I worked exclusively in that field until 2004. At that time I became a full time artist. During the years I traveled through the Americas and Europe. In 2003 I relocated to Longwood, Florida along with my Family.
