My work is all about creating one-of-a-kind handbags, garments, and sculptural pieces from high-quality deerskin leather. I’m inspired by the textures, shapes, and movement found in nature, especially the woods I explored as a child. I use deerskin for its softness, strength, and ability to be shaped by hand using water and heat. This lets me craft dimensional details like roses, fringe, and layered textures, often finished with stones, antlers, and vintage finds. Each piece is a reflection of my love for the forest and its organic beauty. Meant to feel both earthy and enchanting. One of my handbags, for example, pairs deerskin and molded roses with antlers, capturing that wild, woodland spirit I try to bring into everything I make. Right now, I’m working on a new collection of garments that blend vintage elements with hand-formed leather and stones. I’m excited to share them in future shows and hope they spark joy and a deeper connection to nature in everyone who sees or wears them.
