Thomas McGurrin

As a designer and maker, I have been involved in contemporary craft for 45 years. My approach to jewelry has always been that less is more. Completely fabricated, my work combines silver and high karat gold. Precious metals are bonded by fusion, while forming techniques give volume and shape to each element. Matte finishes are achieved by sanding, embossing, and brushing.
Inspiration is drawn from nature, architecture, and all of the applied arts. Clean lines reflecting natural forms, distinctive textures, and simple elegance define and characterize my collection.
