I design and make custom furniture that plays with differing materials while attempting to transcend scale with an industrial-chic flair. My work is inspired by many architectural and engineering heroes with focus in the era of The Machine Age and Italian Futurism brought into the present day. From live-edge slab table tops to vacuum pressing veneer most woods and metals are my on my palette. My design method is bottom up with each layer suited with its material and fabrication method with the execution of my craft always a paramount concern. From sketches to CAD drawing and 3D models through MIG and TIG welding to chisel work it is all by my hand.
