I use oil paints to create images of cities and people, riding a line between impressionism and realism from reference materials and drawings that I make while visiting different cities in the world. Light and shadow are very important in the work I create. I have been compared to Edward Hooper, Gustave Caillebotte and many other impressionist artists.
