Ruben Medina

As an artist I draw my inspiration from my personal experiences. My art tries to highlight the elements of beauty and nature that surrounds me. Nature has a great expressive character given by the texture and complexity of the shapes. The figures that I model are made out of epoxy clay and decorated with real shells and barnacles. I make 3D and wall sculptures and I finish them with acrylic paint or I cover them with metal coating and natural patina.
