Printmaking ‘double drop’ monotype: etching ink first painted (w/brushes & brayers) on a plexiglass plate and then transferred also called ‘hand-pulled’ to paper via an etching press. Additional layers of ink are transferred from plate onto the same paper in the same way. This series depicts celebration i.e. painted groups of circles symbolize a party because 1) effervescence, champagne bubbles or 2) confetti or 3) balloons, uplifting.
