During the process of “heat painting”, I call upon an arsenal of forms, textures, and objects that I have created out of tempered metals. The use of heat allows me to vitalize the process by introducing an element of chance. I find that by nurturing the arbitrary (and undirected) reactions of materials in the process of heating and cooling it the creative process is in a constant evolution.
