In making the transition from traditional photography to digital imaging I did not change the kind of pictures I look for. I always look for and interesting juxtaposition of common, everyday items or scenes that take a little extra effort to notice. My favorite photos contain coincidences of natural and/or man-made elements. With photography, I usually had to find them. With digital, I can create them. My background was in painting until I discovered photography. Now with digital, I’m a painter again but my canvas is a computer screen.
