Wood sculpture /I hand carve from a variety of hardwoods. I try to incorporate texture and form into every piece . I hand carve and paint the birds with acrylic paints. I carve everyday objects , for example a piece of fabric hanging on a clothesline . Most viewers think they are leather and this creates interesting dialog.
This is what I hope to achieve.
