As a Christian and mixed-media artist, I am deeply inspired by the Holy Spirit. While my paintings do not depict overtly religious themes, each one carries the power of His presence. I paint loose abstract florals using acrylics, water, textured papers, lots of gel medium, crayons, markers, pencils, and an array of mark-making tools—my favorite being an old silicone potholder. I paint intuitively and expressively, layering bold strokes and daring patterns that are playful, unpredictable, and joyfully outside the lines (a lesson I learned back in kindergarten). My paintings are about discovering unexpected treasures, spontaneous joy, and whispers of peace. I use only professional artist-grade materials and UV-protective finishes to ensure each painting is created to last. Each piece features painted sides for a finished look and arrives ready to hang. Whether displayed in a traditional or contemporary setting, these paintings are designed to bring conversation and joy wherever they are placed.
