Original batiks are created using traditional batik methods and tools, locally sourced beeswax, fiber reactive and natural dyes. With over 30 years of experience, I explore traditional methods combined with experimental approaches. Narrative batiks touch on many aspects of family, community, ancestors, and the weight of all that women carry, with a focus on the unseen forces and liminal spaces that urge us to take notice to find beauty and healing in our connections.
