My glass compositions are unlike most glass you see. Each unique glass art piece has 3 dimensional aspects in each kiln fired casting. Each composition is created by using multiple layers of opaque and transparent sheet glass, many colors & textures of glass frit, and color glass stringers. Each piece goes through several stages of high temperature kiln firings. The final firing, often is a face down composition, in which I layer each color and texture of glass creating visual depth in each completed glass piece. It is very difficult to capture the beauty and depth of my work in a mere photograph. The final composition is an organic impressionistic cast glass image with visual depth & texture, that brings quiet beauty to our chaotic world.
