While studying Business in Paris, France in 2015, I toured the world renowned La Galerie Dior fashion museum and was desperate to bring the brand home with me. But considering my college student budget, I folded a tourist paper map of Paris, France with the goal to merge my love of fashion with my time in Paris. This idea led to the profound discovery that something as simple as a €2 map beautifully captured my memories and personal experience of Paris in an original way. Thus, JL & Co Paper Designs started inspired not only by luxury fashion but by life itself. Each paper artwork is delicately cut from maps and all types of paper, folded, and customized to be reminiscent of the buyer’s own personal memories – simple but never basic.
