I use a combination of mediums and ideas that come from my past as an art educator. I began actively promoting/selling in 2016, focusing in on yarn paintings (based on the folk art of the Huichol people. Given the interest/fascination of both students and parents with this particular project, I had always been curious to see how I could work to expand this medium and, hopefully, the result of that always growing experiment is what you see now.
My subjects are varied and range from an homage to art history- my Altered Antiquity series- to my current Disappearing Grid series which explores the influence of technology on our daily lives.
