John Galbo

My photography skills were developed, out of necessity, doing ethnographic research for 10 years at the college level, while teaching cultural anthropology/sociology. During this time, my camera of choice was a 35mm.The transition to digital occurred in 2001. My preference is a Canon 1 DS and 3 L zoom lenses: 16-35, 28-105, and 70-210 (with built-in image stabilizer). In my opinion, the imagery achieved with this equipment has incomparable sharpness, resolution, and reproduction qualities.
