Ginny Herzog

Architecture has been the inspiration for my art for over twenty years. My digital photos of architectural elements are used as collage and appear as distorted images in my abstract mixed media paintings.Compositions are constructed for a fusion of multiple perspectives. My application of paints and crayons sometimes suggest fresco walls; linear detail with graphite and pencils provides a visual pathway through the painting and may imply elements of an architectural drawing.
