I hand fabricate my silver, gold, and gemstone art jewelry using a wide variety of metalsmithing techniques, ranging from traditional to experimental. My pieces are rich with textures, patterns, and hand-drawn designs, telling stories with the juxtaposition of botanical references, artistic motifs, and gemstones full of character. My more complex pieces might include hinged compartments, hidden details, kinetic elements, unusual clasps, or multiple ways to be worn. I love jewelry that does something “extra”, and I love to figure out the mechanics of how to include unexpected elements into my work, ensuring each piece is a pleasure to explore and wear.
