Elaine Hyde

The current focus of my work is to combine the immediate and fluid aspects of glass with the shine and structure of precious metals. The glass base is created first then the tops are made to complement the piece and achieve fusion of design. 38 years of blowing glass and 20 of experimenting with precious elements has led me to a synthesis of media. All of the glass and metal fabrication is made entirely by myself.
