Medium: Kinetic Metal and Glass

Our art evolves from our combined talents and artisticinclinations. We strive to create a fanciful kinetic balance ofimaginary universes. We produce all our artwork, from design tocompletion.

Our kinetic pieces are welded of mixed metals and found objectmetals including steel, stainless steel, brass and copper. Metal rodsare heated to shape and bend. Welding is done with a MIG (electric)welder.

The glass forms are made of flameworked glass. Solid glass rodsare heated and melted with a gas torch and formed around metal rods.Color detail is added to create one of a kind planetary-like effects.

We combine the metal and glass to form kinetic touch and spinpieces made up of 3 to 5 balancing layers. Touch interaction betweenthe art and the observer is encouraged to bring the art closer andaccessible to each person.
