Debra Savage

My adventure with glass began in 1975, and I’m still fascinated with its enduring beauty and boundless possibilities. I love giving birth to new ideas and forms. Sometimes I dream about them, and get up in the middle of the night to make notes or drawings. I take great delight in manipulating glass in the kiln, and never tire of trying new things to see what I can create. Opening the kiln is almost like Christmas morning; and with some projects, it’s all I can do to wait until the glass is completely cooled.
