Angela Kullmann

A variety of filters, film emulsions and printing techniques are used to selectively alter tonal range to create unique, softly toned photo-impressionist style prints. Images are captured with 1950’s era medium format camera gear. Finished prints are hand deckled and float mounted. All steps in the creative process, including printing and framing, are completed by my husband and I, as a collaborative team. We are both involved in every step of the creative and finishing process, including strategies of initial photo capture, actual photo capture, deciding which images to print, the printing process, and presentation styles. Our subject matter has focused on dramatic skies that tell a special story. Our finished pieces are signed by both of us.
