My pottery begins with classic porcelain forms, then some of the forms are altered to give a more organic feel. This allows a certain control which best complements the surface treatment. The use of decoration on flat and round surfaces allows some control in the randomness of the firing. I have a love of art deco, architecture, and old science fiction- all of which I try to infuse in my work.
