Amanda Murphy

I’m an award winning artist prolific in Chicago area shows. I trained in B&W film photography using the wet darkroom, moving to digital processes after graduating college. I’ve been active in the art show scene since 2006. My current body of work combines contemporary, whimsical and childlike themes influenced by my desire to laugh, play and be a kid again. I use bright saturated color to evoke a pop art feel in my photographs.
