Tor Erickson

We primarily build hand-sculpted, ergonomic chairs. We draw our inspiration directly from the wood and from American crafting traditions. Each chair design begins with two questions: what is the look of the chair and what is it like to sit in? These two questions – together with inspiration drawn from the wild and beautiful Claro walnut, our primary material – create a tension that shapes a design which could not have existed without all three forces in play.
