Rachel Harvey

My paintings are quiet moments, tapping into the nostalgia of childhood memories. My work is an emotional connection with the land and sky in which the busyness of life recedes and one finds solitude and refuge. One is grounded in the vastness of the land, the endlessness of the horizon, the expanse of the sky, a limitless hemisphere radiating out from where one stands.
