My recent artwork centers on themes of nature, pattern, and rich layers. Each of my paintings have about 30 layers of processes where the work itself of adding and subtracting from the surface yields a complexity. Each piece is a celebration of my own experience with nature, growing up in rural South Carolina in a ramshackle farmhouse.
