Through my drawings, I explore mysticism and transformation, building bridges between the visible and the unseen. My work invites viewers into a space where the ordinary turns extraordinary, and the boundaries of reality begin to blur. Deeply rooted in my Colombian heritage and inspired by the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez, my art inhabits a universe where change is constant, where figures exist in a perpetual state of becoming. Wings emerge as extensions of the body, motion lingers within stillness, and presence feels both fleeting and eternal. Each composition is carefully planned and rendered with precision. Using graphite and charcoal on cotton paper, I build tonal depth and fine detail to evoke emotion and gesture. My intention is to create works that feel alive, pieces that spark curiosity and invite contemplation, allowing stories to unfold beyond the surface.
