Art, for me, is a conversation with the human spirit. Each painting reflects the rhythm of life and the beauty, strength, and dignity found in our shared experiences. My work invites the viewer to look beyond the surface and connect with the emotion and story within. My journey began as a child, watching my father hand-paint signs with care and precision. Those moments taught me discipline, patience, and pride in craftsmanship. Growing up in rural North Carolina, surrounded by faith, family, and community, shaped the values that continue to guide my art today. Through a blend of figurative realism and cultural storytelling, I celebrate heritage, perseverance, and the power of hope. My subjects often honor high achievers, icons, and historic figures who inspire us to rise above circumstance and believe in possibility. With each piece, my purpose is to uplift, educate, and inspire. The recognition my art has received is humbling, but my greatest reward is when someone stands before my work and feels seen. That connection is the true measure of success, and it is why I continue to create.
