Paul Flack

Neo-fresco, outdoor art for inside the home. Inspired by graffiti and outdoor art, this work is intended to capture the vitality and freshness of the contemporary expression while providing a sense of permanence atypical of its character. The work is primarily water-soluble graphite on stained plaster of paris, insinuating an outside wall. Airbrush and acrylic are used to enhance design, color and mimic familiar characteristics of spray painted work. Each piece is finished with clear resin. Patrons often mistake the work for fired porcelain.
