Tom Bloyd

In my latest body of work, I am delving into the interplay of light, color and form. Each piece starts with a drawing depicting the pattern for which the color is to be layered. Colors are overlayed purposefully with subtle gradation to express pattern. I employ several very stiff glass colors which will hold a line thus giving each piece an abstract landscape.
