Lisa Burge

My paintings are non-representational oil and acrylic on panel or canvas. I consider myself an abstract expressionist, with the focus on composition, form, and color. I build up the pieces layer upon layer…adding, obscuring… revealing. My use of mark-making with graphite and oil stick is a way to develop my own personal vocabulary.
