Kirk Miller

Fusing art and scince is my inspiration. I am an award winning retired science teacher turned award winning glass artist. I approach glass the same way that I approached teaching. Hands on experimentation. I am self taught and have continually strived through controlled experimentation to make new and unique kiln formed glass pieces. The technique that I developed allows me to make my own sheet glass with which to design my creations. Retiring from the classroom has allowed me to pursue my glass passion full time and I am loving every minute of it.
