I am in search of alternate universes that can be found by analyzing beauty in nature. Using mathematical equations, natural geometric structures are developed and simplified using a simple grid over canvas, allowing my personal search to evolve into new visual statements. Rational insertion of dots is used as the starting point from which to implement subconscious moves by adding and subtracting paint, in an effort to ascertain the true meaning of beauty.
Oil and charcoal marks are created and then wiped out with a rag drenched in solvent to give a new picture in which a generated grid has to stand on its own against smeared surfaces.
