Charles Strain

I draw my imagery from nature and from life experience. The human figure and human emotions are the basis of most of my compositions. Happiness, sadness, a moment in time, a familiar experience, a celebration–these events and emotions serve as catalysts for my sculptures. My dedication, mastering of the lost wax method of casting bronze, and a “labor of love” approach to art-making, serve to transform each bronze into a timeless statement.
