Lou Hii

The original designs went through a series of sketches. The finished design has to be in a continuous piece w/negative & positive space in mind. Finished design is then handcut w/X-Acto knife & special tools on black papers. It is then collaged & glued w/color papers to the background. For the multi-color designs, it is cut on white handmade rice papers. It is then handcolor with liquid watercolor.
