David Royce

My art uses blown glass that is carved through multiple layers to add depth, texture and movement to the pieces. Most recently I have been focused on adding metal in novel ways to the glass using epoxy. Methods include sheet metal inlays and steel armatures. Some sculptures are as tall as 8 feet.
