Terry Habeger

My work is made from clay and hand painted with acrylics. I construct sculptural forms, most of which are wheel-thrown and then altered with slabs. I do some purely slab constructions also. All of my forms are closed – no openings. My work has evolved from these sculptural forms to include 3d and flat clay wall pieces. I see my work as both intuitive and analytic. I work with a piece and problem-solve a piece until I am satisfied with it.
