Dave Monk

My passion for working with wood started as a young boy with a Christmas gift of a scroll saw. Since then, I have owned and used nearly every woodworking tool there is but have come full circle back to the scroll saw. I love creating intricate pictures with my inlays using my palate of nearly 30 species wood. I believe my intarsia pieces and chess sets bring art, beauty and fun into a home and my hope is that those pieces, made with love, become family heirlooms.
