I am most interested in exploring the interplay of color and pattern. I’m saturating forms pattern by layering canes on top of each other, giving the pieces a depth that changes with perspective. I make my own cane (rods of glass) and murrine (cane with multiple color layers, cut cross-sectionally) from scratch. The processes of making parts thru to the finished piece can last weeks and sometimes over a month
