I create sculptural jewelry that is engineered to be flexible and collapsible by using hypoallergenic miniature structural cabling mixed with fine metals and semi-precious stones to reinterpret them to create light, sculptural jewelry that is feminine, luxurious, and alluring. Each element is handfabricated using a mixture of soldering, cold-connection techniques, and textile techniques applied to metal with the overall principles of proportion, scale and symmetry. The results are sculptural and airy pieces with big visual impact that are engineered to be virtually weightless. I love simple geometric forms because they are elementary but can be expounded on to create multi-dimensional forms.
