Marie Gruber

I use careful composition and long exposures to capture and isolate elements in nature. In this way I create photographs that show my impressions and feelings of a particular place and time. After I print and mount my photographs, I work with encaustic to finish my artwork in a way that emphasizes those impressions and feelings.
