John Scanlan

I am an old-school photographer. My creative process takes place in the field rather than behind a computer. Starting 44 years ago, I am self-taught and have made tons of mistakes along the way. This allows my creative process to be more organic! My work simply focuses, on being at a very unique place, at a very unique moment in time. I do all my own printing, to include printing on light, sensitive photographic paper, pigmented, dyes on canvas, and dye sublimation on metal.
