Jill Tortorella

A true passion for clay leads me down new roads every single day. Hand thrown forms are just the beginning. My altering and joining multiple pieces I create utilitarian clay vessels. I truly love my job and I like the connection formed with each user. Glaze chemistry plays a big role in my work, all the clay and glaze used are of my own formulation. I have perfected some signature colors. My education includes, but is not limited to, a BFA in studio ceramics from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am constantly learning.
